Pairing a Bluetooth Device

To pair my headphones:

  1. Hold the Play/Power button to turn on OV Pro
  2. Enable Bluetooth pairing on your mobile device
  3. Select “OV Pro-xxxx” from your list of available devices


Pairing Instructions for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

The headset must be paired to the phone first, but it must also be paired to the Application for the headset to work with the OV application.


  1. Assure the headset is paired to your phone
  2. With the headset on and connected to the phone, open the OV Application

 

  1.   If you are not logged into the application, then do so
  2.  Find the 3 horizontal bars in the upper left-hand corner (Menu slider) and select that symbol
  3. Select “Pair OV Device”

 



  1. If the OV device (Headset) is found there will be an entry saying OVPro (for OV Pro) or OV (for OV Exec) or Paired




  1. If there is no device found, you will have a Shop OV with instruction

 



  1. If no device is found but the headset is paired to the phone being used
    1.  Turn off the headset, wait 10 seconds, turn the headset on – once connected to the phone the headset should show up in the Pair OV Device List    
    2. Check the Bluetooth connection on the phones Bluetooth setup, you should have 2 listings for the device


  1. Both should say connected, if only one is connected, select the other to connect the application as well
  2. If both are connected go back to the Application -> Pair OV Devices and check, the headset should be paired

Note: Ensure that there is no audio cable plugged into OV.

Note: When the application is also connected there will be two (2) bluethooth devices showing in the phones settings with the same name, this is normal 

Once connected, you can now open the OV Loop app, and you will be taken to the homepage.


Pairing Instructions for Android (phone or tablet)


  • On your Android device, turn Bluetooth On from the Settings menu
  • On the Android device’s Bluetooth menu, select ‘Search for Devices.’  Your OV should appear in the list after a few seconds. Note that new devices appear at the bottom of the menu, so you may need to scroll down. It will appear as “OV-xxxx” where xxxx = OV device number.
  • Select your OV once it appears
  • Once you select your OV, a numeric code will be displayed on your device
    • (Optional) Enter the numeric code. Pairing is now successful

Pairing the headset to the Application
  1. Assure the headset is paired to your phone


  1. With the headset on and connected to the phone, open the OV Application
  2.  If you are not logged into the application, then do so

Note: If the headset indicated “OV App required” during a command then check this setting or set it to “Allow” to assure the headset is connected to the app

Note: Ensure that there is no audio cable plugged into OV.

Note: On some devices, you may need to select the settings of the Paired Device (symbol on the right) and verify that ‘Call audio’ and ‘Media Audio’ are set to On.

Once connected, you can now open the OV Loop app, and you will be taken to the homepage.
